This department employs people that will lie in court in order to collect unjustified fines. One week after a new burn ordinance was in place, my 84 yr old grandfather was cited for burning under a week old ordinance after initially being given a warning five minutes before another officer decided to issue a ticket. The fire dept went to court against my grandfather and lied about my grandfather stating he applied for a license and pretty much lied about the entire incident. This was unnecessary and took advantage of my grandfathers age and ignorance to collect a $500 fine from a man on social security. Shame on this department...
